Review:

A nice, but small, playground with lots of shade and a hiking trail to a huge dam.  It has one climbing structure with a higher 4′ side with double slides and some movable parts to play with.  They are connected by a few of those wide, uneven posts.  The smaller side has harder steps to climb but an interesting zigzaggy slide that little kids love because they have to wiggle and it bounces them around.

There are benches and picnic tables next to the playground and a huge, open, grassy area between there and the dam.

How to get there: From the Taconic State Parkway, take Underhill Ave west.  Right on 129. Pass over the reservoir.  Down the hill on the left, you’ll see a big brown sign for Croton Gorge Park. Drive down the hill and over the bridge.  Park in the back near the playground.
