How to get there: From I684, take exit 8.  Follow Hardscrabble Road east.  Make a right on Delancey Rd.  First right on Lakeview Rd.  Continue down this loop road to the sharp left turn.  You may see little yellow signs in the trees but its not really marked.  There is parking for about 3 cars off the road on the right, across from someone’s driveway.

Summary:

From the parking area, pick out the white trail that heads in and left through the trees. You’ll cross over a bridge and head up hill a little.

Make a right at the fork and follow the white trail as it climbs up.  At a little over a quarter of a mile there is a large rock formation to the right that has a cool little cave-like entrance.

Keep heading south and downhill, passing the orange trail and both blues (you can take blue for an extra 3/4 mile but I found the blue markers hard to follow).

At the bottom of the hill, the white trail makes a sharp left.  In winter you can see the reservoir through the trees.  There is a little bench just off the trail to take a break.

Continue on white, passing the two yellow trails (if you want to cut a tiny bit off you can take the yellow across and make a left on white).

Close the loop and make a right down to the bridge and back to the entrance.
