Summary:
This is a well maintained trail that follows the wetlands that lead to Ice Pond. Head down the trail from the right corner of the parking lot. You’ll cross over a stream and head up a bit following the well-trod yellow trail.
At the Y forks, stay right and follow the edge of the water through a very cool hemlock forest. Keep going until you reach the end.
The trail dumps out onto the Mayfair Line bike path which is not open to the public (5/2020) and you could get ticketed for being on it.
When you’re done, turn around and head back the way you came.
